It’s been a busy week – a wedding, traveling to preach in Northern California and then heading to Oklahoma for the week to preach in Cordell, OK. So thankful for these opportunities that have opened up for me in God’s timing and in His way.
My life verse, my ‘being verse’….
Just a reminder for me and you today. Wherever I go, I move in a broad place, a journey of steps that are ordered, ordained by God for me. There is no more wandering for me. I live in a broad place of grace in which there are doors ready to be opened as I set out in journey, enjoying the movement of faith, trusting in Jesus with all for He is all.
Listen by Holy Spirit. In a broad place of grace, God lives in us, moves with us, and syncs us with His steps.
He also brought me out into a broad place;
He delivered me because He delighted in me
(Psalms 18:19 NKJVS)
It’s also said this way;
He stood me up on a wide–open field;
I stood there saved––surprised to be loved
(Psalms 18:19 Message)
My salvation is not restrictive but expansive in grace. This expanse, this broad place is flowing with an intense desire to know Christ, to know Him in His fullness. Why skirt the edges of salvation when I can run throughout the broad place of life, living, moving and having my being in Him?
Being in Christ has transformed any type of speaking, preaching and ministry for not only do I bring the message it seems that I am the message, imparting life, healing and freedom to those to whom I am sent. It’s a glorious feeling. It is life.
As a Christian, there is this wide open field to know and experience Christ. There is indeed joy in the journey. He’s all for me and all for you. All we have to do is stretch, move, get up, risk, adventure, journey – a bit, a little, something different, out of the ordinary.
Take a journal today and a pen………sometimes it’s best to get away from the computer. Sit and just think on Christ Jesus – meditate on Scripture and see where Holy Spirit takes you. Enjoy the journey. More blogging after Oklahoma.
