Creative Friday – Prophetic Artist Shari Breault

Let me introduce you to Shari Breault today, a prophetic artist, creatively gifted in Christ to reveal the heart of the Father to His children.

ImageShari started painting in 1981. At that time, it seemed to be an escape from a bad home situation but In the midst of everything, God anointed her pain for His glorious purpose. I see the unconditional love of the Father in Shari’s work. Her creative expression in Christ shines with beauty and grace flowing from her life.  This painting  is “Not Afraid To Look.” What do you see?

When children came along, Shari decided to lay down her art to raise them as a single mom. Trusting God, she chose to creatively express the beauty of Christ as a mom in her everyday life, yet deep inside the creative artist was alive waiting to come out again in God’s perfect timing.

Seeing thru a child's eyesHere’s a beautiful painting – “Seeing the World Through a Child’s Eyes”.

It was twenty years later that Shari sensed the Lord calling her to pick up her brushes again. She began to paint a lion.

“I love to paint lions,” says Shari. I didn’t know why until I met a gentleman, Dean Braxton, who actually had an incredible supernatural experience where he died and went to heaven.”

His experience opened his spiritual eyes to see things that others may not be able to see.

Shari says, “When he asked me why I paint lions, I hesitated to answer, thinking it was a trick question. I told him that I loved to paint lions simply because I liked them. Then he told me that there was more to it than that.”

In the spirit, Dean saw many lions around her. Shari admits that some people may think that a bit strange, but she has seen them in the realm of the spirit and with her natural eyes when she paints.

Shari says, “Seeing with the eyes of the spirit opens up my spiritual sight to paint to the glory of God.”

Below is the “Lion of Judah” looking up, calling us to a higher place in the Spirit.

Lion of JudahShari has a lot of dreams and visions from God that inspires her art. When God shows her something, she often thinks about it for a few weeks, wondering how to translate what God is showing her into her artwork. As the vision starts to reveal itself within her by Holy Spirit, her imagination takes hold and she begins to paint what she sees.

Shari desires that her paintings bring healing to people. God is answering that prayer. One day a lady walked into her house and saw the painting of the Bride dancing on the Water. When she saw it, the anointing on the painting brought tears to her eyes and she started to weep. Healing then flowed into the woman’s life that very day.

The Bride in a River of LifeOverwhelmed by the Father’s love for her, Shari’s inspiration flows directly from her intimacy, worship and communion with God. There is a fire that burns within her to create. Many times she weeps for the nations, believing that God will open doors to travel, bringing her art into places where lives will be touched, and many will be healed and set free.

Walk Into Your Future – Be Present – Live A Seamless Life

Happy New Year Everyone!

More great posts from the past year.

Look Around – Who’s Walking With You Into Your Future?
It’s a sad fact but some people, no matter what we do, will not walk with us into our future. We may want them to with all of our heart, knowing that the fit seems perfect, at least to us. Yet, they stand resolute in the now, seeing us as we were but not as we are. Everyone and I mean everyone is capable of change and restoration in God’s grace. In Hm there is hope and restoration. Read more…..

To Be Positioned To BE Present
To me this is just normal Christianity – filled with supernatural experiences that are in sync with my eternal reality, being seated in heavenly places. From this place, Holy Spirit leads and guides me in the natural realm with heavenly vision. For those who looked at me over the years and often indicated that I was bit ‘off,” I would like to just ask, “How’s your Christianity going for you? Has it settled into a mundane reality or are you living in the adventure of journey in Christ?” Read more…..

Open DoorCreative Expression – A Seamless Life In Christ
Seamless – Flowing, Continuously, Living. Connected to heaven, living on earth. Before my salvation in Christ, I wandered into anything and everything that could or would give me meaning. At that time in my life, I did not want, nor did I seek salvation because I was a ‘hard-sell’, very cynical and rebellious. For me to even focus on the Lord, I had to see that He was real. He is. He offered me life and I accepted. And, in my Christianity, I never settled for anything so religious that it denied that I am a spiritual being in Christ, able to hear His voice and meant to walk in the supernatural, . The Word and the Spirit – that is Christianity that is my reality. People of two realms – that is a good way to describe it.  Read more…..

What Do You See?

Creative expression stirs my soul and my spirit. I love it when people take time to create for no other reason than to bring a snippet of beauty into the world. God, how we need that.

Here’s a great video a friend posted on FB. I was captivated by its form and its flow. Why don’t you take a few minutes to breathe and just look at it to see what it may reveal itself to you?

What do you see? Different expressions touch the heart of different people in different ways.

It is beautiful to me. And, in a world that merchandises beauty for profit and the bottom line, it is refreshing to know that beauty can interject itself into my day and just BE beautiful.

When I look at this video, I am not concerned at how it produces something in me to create material value or enhance my success. I love the fact that by gazing at this particular video, I can allow its creative force to infuse my life with a sense of wonder. And, a smile too – to think that someone actually had this creative idea and then made it work.

If I look once, I see what is revealed. When I look again, my imagination takes flight and I see forms and flow. I am excited about creative expression.

Beauty has no other desired end at times other than to be beautiful and to impart that sense of amazement into others.

As a Christian, Christ is in me and in the power of His Spirit, my spiritual senses are activated to see something supernatural about it, something wonderful about it. How is this bringing glory through my eyes to reveal the glory of Christ in me?

Colors shift from bright red to deep red, forming shadows.  At times it seems as if the fabric is in violent confrontation. Then there are moments of blending together in flow.

If I were to prophesy and allow Jesus to speak to me from this, I believe I would hear something like this.

“There are times, My child, when you fight the flow of My Spirit moving in your life. LIfe is dynamic, never static. Life comes with shifting colors and muted shadows, that rise and fall in times and seasons. Yet, I am always with you and never leave you, Ever.

My intent is for you to rise into My flow of life so that I breathe into you. Life is imparted fresh and new to you each and every day. There is beauty when you step back and gaze upon My beauty to see the bigger picture of what I am doing in and through you.

Do not be so introspective that you miss the beauty of divine moments in which I choose to speak to you through the most unusual and diverse ways. Look up, away from that which troubles and distresses. Look up and away and gaze upon Me, upon My beauty to reflect My Glory.”

As you think on Jesus, allow Holy Spirit to speak to you. What do You see and hear?  I would love to hear. Comment below.

Courage in All Ways – Especially in Being Creative!

creativity-takes-courageCreativity is courageous. It is a necessary element needing to be infused into the Body of Christ. Not staged or produced but infused. The alternative to Holy Spirit creativity, as expressed through God’s people –robotic Christians who know form and structure but never touch the heart of Jesus Christ. There has been enough of that.

An excellent paragraph from NT Wright:

“But the arts, the imagination, our capacity to create beauty ourselves, is not simply incidental to what it means to be human. For generations now, many Christians have really believed, and acted on the belief, that the arts, the imagination, are the pretty bits around the edge, the kind of decorative border, whereas the middle bit, the main bit, whatever it is, is the kind of solid, stodgy, chunky bit in the middle which is Christian truth, dogma, belief, and ethics, and all that stuff, and then you can kind of go away and play sometimes around the edge if you’re lucky.”

Creativity will always challenge the status quo and disrupt business as usual.

Creativity Declaration – A Creative Force

This word below is for Me and it is Me. Is it for you? May creativity and beauty be established in the Body of Christ.

Holy Spirit 1I am going to keep posting it on my Facebook page as often as necessary so that I keep reminding myself this is who I am, despite the dryness of these past years. So I will post and re-post as often as I feel the need to remind myself of this. This current blog post is for me and if you want to jump in this river, please do. I am not sure yet where it is going but I am in, all the way. Rivers of Eden.

I burst with creativity but the enemy has tried ever so hard to shoot me down and kill this in me. This creativity that is ready to explode in me that the enemy tells me daily that I am unqualified and unable on all fronts. There is so much to say about this but I believe and continue to believe that there are ‘creative forces’ ready to mentor creatives in Christ.

Ladder to skyThat is me. I know and feel I release this over people, over churches and over nations. So after years of wandering here and there, trying to hook into that ‘sweet spot’ in Jesus I am finding it. Also along the way, many have tried to deter me for whatever reason, even telling me that the creatives are irrelevant to the church. So here goes…………where? Not exactly sure except to say that it will begin in Kenya in April (our next trip.) It is a path that is somewhat here and there with the flow but it will be led by Holy Spirit to first build people up into their creative destiny and then set then loose.

Open DoorIt seems that in this blog, over time, I have said this before and then backed away due to increasing warfare and demonic attacks, to be quite honest with you. I can’t back up anymore for creativity flows through my veins. I am not content to see services run lackluster and boring when Holy Spirit leads and guides us in a beautiful heavenly artistic display of God’s glory and splendor. I am spending the next few days praying and fasting for one step in Holy Spirit’s direction. All I can say is this: Know your identity in Christ and then be led by Holy Spirit to flow in the direction He wants you to go. For too long, I have wavered. I know that. I see that. And if I don’t believe in myself, who else will?

A hesitation to proclaim who I am called to be has deterred me, distracted me and divided me. I hear you God. I am listening Jesus. Lead the way Holy Spirit.

Are You Called to Be a Creative Force?
Julie A. Smith

I heard the words this morning, “A Creative Force.” I saw in the spirit that some are called to lead creators and creativity. They are “marked” by God as a creative force to release creativity over people, groups, and nations… and nations who haven’t experienced the measure of creativity God destined for them.

I got the verses, “So God created…” and “God spoke…” and that’s the creative force some of these ones have been given from God to speak into hearts and atmospheres and release His creativity upon them.

New SoundI saw some even “overwhelmed” by the responsibility and said, “No God, I’m dreaming, I have an overactive imagination… it’s not me You’ve chosen to do this.” But He said, “Yes, it is.”

Some feel such a creative force inside of them that sometimes they feel like they are going to explode. And know this – that creative force isn’t just for you, it’s for the many who will receive this same creative force for themselves to create and to be creative.

As you “give yourself permission” to release this creative force inside of you, you give others that same permission.

You are “marked” by God to be a creative force. So… be the creative force you are called to be.
