No More Regrets – Great Video!

FaithSomeone posted this video on Facebook today and I immediately knew it is my message of the day. I learn to see in Holy Spirit what the Father is saying to His children. God speaks in a variety of ways and creative outlets. He is speaking through this video. I am simply making the connection between the regret that people sense in their lives and the ONE who heals and restores and makes new. Jesus Christ.

No more regrets – for any of us. So many, as you will see when you watch this, are dealing with lost vision, opportunities, dreams, etc. etc. etc.

Regret leaves us standing in a prison behind a locked door. Feeling trapped and isolated, unable to see any possible way from fulfilling what is deep in our heart, we feel dead inside, going through the motions, limited and dormant. Eyes well up with tears simply because deep inside we know that we know we are created for more……….the more being a deep passion to fulfill a purpose inside that is from eternity and bathed in creativity.

Jesus comes and gives us a clean slate – day by day, moment by moment. In the midst of our mistakes, our failures and our losses, our hearts turn and repent (to think differently, to change one’s mind for the better, to reconsider).

We stand and gaze upon His beauty, see His glory and see ourselves in Christ. His mercies are new every morning. His goodness abounds to us in our weakness.

We not only stand in the imparted revelation of His goodness and grace, we move in faith to start today with new vision, birthed from the throne of God. In other words, it is NEVER too late, unless you make it so. Believe this is so for it is not cliché but reality in Christ.

He wipes the slate clean. Every good and perfect thing comes down from the Father of lights. Knowing each of us before we were even born, our lives are hidden in Christ as He is Lord of our lives. He forms us, knows us and empowers us to live a renewed, holy life through the power of His resurrection. Enjoy!

Heavenly Minded

Epiphany – a moment of sudden revelation or insight, manifestation, appearance.

Like Mary.

26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to the Galilean village of Nazareth 27 to a virgin engaged to be married to a man descended from David. His name was Joseph, and the virgin’s name, Mary. 28 Upon entering, Gabriel greeted her:

Good morning!
You’re beautiful with God’s beauty,
Beautiful inside and out!
God be with you
(Luke 1:26-28 Message)

Like Paul.

When he got to the outskirts of Damascus, he was suddenly dazed by a blinding flash of light. 4 As he fell to the ground, he heard a voice:”Saul, Saul, why are you out to get me?”5 He said, “Who are you, Master?” “I am Jesus, the One you’re hunting down. 6 I want you to get up and enter the city. In the city you’ll be told what to do next. (Acts 9:3-6 Message)

Here are just two examples that crossed my mind today about sudden flashes of light, bringing with them change, revelation, and an angelic appearance. With an epiphany comes a purity in awe and wonder, rushing over a person in a divine exchange between heaven and earth.

I believe that we need epiphanies in our lives – divine interactions of the supernatural kind. Normal Christianity. We need to be awed again on a consistent basis, or at least I do. I desire that sense of wonder, filled with child-like faith.

New CreationThe essence of life can be dull and crusty in the day-to-day, as we all know and experience. As adults, we file our days away into categories or to-do lists that deal with the reality of life as we know it. We speak in clichés because it’s easier than to speak from the depths of our being as we encounter Jesus Christ.

How about being so heavenly minded that we are no earthly good at times? After all, we are already seated in heavenly places in Christ so why not learn to move in that realm, live in that place right now, today.

I believe what I am feeling today is what C.S. Lewis so beautifully said:

“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”

Have you ever felt like this? I believe this is deeply experienced by those who have turned themselves over to the Lordship of Christ Jesus. That sense that all is so shallow compared to the express longing to know Him in deeper and more profound ways.

Perhaps that is what a longing for holiness is all about. Not retreating into law and trying to find the right rules, regulations or declarations to draw close to God but throwing oneself headlong into grace. A grace that transforms us in the midst of our humanness. A grace that brings us into glory, a deeper revelation of Christ in me. A grace that transcends living in this world while we are living in this world.

To know Him. To see Him. To be like Him. To be transformed in His glory to walk in the light as He is in the light. To allow that light to permeate from the depths of our being so that we are walking light-bearers, filled with the glory of God. Perhaps it all starts with an epiphany that come purposely to destroy our sense of normalcy and set us on fire again.

Whirlwinds of Glory

Tunnel_Of_LoveFor those ready to receive this, I want to put this out there. This vision is for those expecting to move into an abounding revelation and experience of God’s glory.

While in worship, I saw a woman wrapped in a swirling white whirlwind. The whirlwind was delicate, filmy, and translucent. As the whirlwind moved in a circular motion, there were living colors shooting out from the whirlwind. Reds, deep pinks, purples, orange and blue. These colors seemed to have a life of their own as they flowed out in all directions from the movement of the whirlwind.

What does one do with this vision? I can tell you what not to do with this. Don’t try to quickly understand it, package it and file it away on some shelf of our lives where there is order and balance. Don’t say “Oh that’s sweet!” or “What a great vision!”

Gaze upon it. Wait upon it to unfold in the power of Holy Spirit. Hold it ever so close to your heart knowing that what was seen will be revealed in its time. This is not a vision to comprehend through natural eyes but through eyes that gaze upon Christ so that His glory may be revealed in and through us.

Does your heart bear witness of this vision? Then take it and wait upon its unfolding revelation to your own life. I take it for my life and the outflow of the ministry of Rivers of Eden. That which is birthed in heavenly places manifests on the earth – thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. There is a great weight of glory that will flow through people that flow in  the creativity of Jesus Christ in His glory so that atmospheres change, lives are healed and people are set free.

It is a vision that celebrates ministers of glory, those willing to wait on God and to experience a divine shift in the spiritual atmosphere during any gathering where heaven manifests on earth. It is time to BE spiritual everyone. Why? Because we are spiritual. We are eternal beings in Christ here and now, living in the world but not of the world.

Heart on Fire for GodThe indwelling of the Spirit of Christ in us quickens us in many different ways to experience shifts in faith to believe and then to see His glory revealed in greater measure flowing through our lives. (Faith to faith, glory to glory.) This whirlwind is a shift in how we see, experience and interpret the spiritual atmosphere as God ushers in His glory through our lives. There is creativity in a glory atmosphere that cannot be controlled to fit into man’s understanding and wisdom.

This post? Well it speaks in a spiritual language to those who have ears to hear by and in the Spirit. Holy Spirit searches out the deep things of God and reveals them to us and through us. Those with ears to hear can take this vision and run with it, wait on it and see how it touches your life. These are words of spirit and life, not so much a teaching or a prophecy but words that can reach in and touch your heart. Are you in the whirlwind?

A New You! Jesus Is Not An Add-On

Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it. (2 Corinthians 5:17 Message)

cropped-cropped-162197901_39612051c1_z.jpg

We are NEW creations. Never revealed in time but new creations in the earth with Christ in us. New – I buy a new car, an upgrade from my previous model. I call it new because it is new to me in time. But it really is still a car so how new is that? Same basic characteristics – tires, steering wheel, engine. It looks different from my old car but it is a car. Drive a Tesla and people may look your way but basically a Tesla will still serve the purpose of a VW in getting you where you want to go.

This new that Paul talks about in 2 Corinthians is a totally new ‘new”. It’s the Greek word Kainos which, when we actually think about it and look at it closely is quite an awesome revelation.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJVS)

Kainos – New – new in quality; unique; novel; unusual; innovative.

According to Crowder in the book Mystical Union:

“God didn’t just add the new you on top of the old you. He replaced the old version with a totally new version.”

TeslaThink about this. When we come on the scene, we are new. People should not look at us as simply an upgrade in an earthly life with the add-on of Jesus. If that is the case, why bother? If Jesus is only an add-on there is little power or purpose in that. If I’m poor, down and out and win a Tesla driving it through the streets of LA, people may look at me because of this expensive car but the person inside driving is still the same – nothing’s changed but the addition of the Tesla.

A new creation in Christ – it’s not an add-on. We are new creations able to be in Christ and to do all that Jesus says we can do. Lay hands on people in the power of heaven and see the lame walk, the dead raised and the blind see? Yes. Operate as eternal beings in heavenly wisdom, seeing what others can’t see and knowing what others don’t know? Yes. How about transcending time and space and stretching out in that place in the Spirit, truly exploring places in the Spirit led by Holy Spirit in faith. Yes. But that is something to explore at another time.

2470168022_1fc91cce26_z (1)Think about this. We are new creations operating out of a new eternal order, in Christ, never seen before. Christ is in us, Holy Spirit leads and guides us, Father loves us – our connection in heavenly places is secure. This is new, and not seen anywhere until the infilling of the Holy Spirit after Jesus ascended to heaven. Remember, He told us He would never leave or forsake. He told us that He would send us Holy Spirit. Jesus kept all those promises and waits for us to know that we are new.

So now what? How to see this? What to do with this? First of all this revelation has to be securely planted in the foundation of our lives. Once we get it and truly know it we realize that we are citizens of another kingdom. In the world but not of the world. We can search out the deep things of God in the Spirit. That is ours in Christ.

But what if you feel so earthly today that searching out the deep things actually is not that appealing because, let’s face it, life is dealing you some harsh blows. Children out of control. Depression setting in. Not enough money to pay the bills. Discord. Confusion. Disunity. A long list of life’s realities follows you wherever you go.

Despite all of this, you are still a new creation. Feel like it? No? Just believe it in faith. So many of us have been taught this verse with religious connotations. We have the knowledge of the verse in our heads but no experience how to rise up in our hearts. We can give lip service to quote this verse but the reality of its true meaning in our hearts is simply not there when life hits us with all its chaos.

Here’s reality about being new:

Fear no longer grips us and holds us. Anxiety no longer rules and reigns in our lives alongside worry. They may be reality but there is a higher reality in which we have righteousness, peace and joy in life despite outward circumstances.

Purpose and destiny calls to us from the heavenly realm to walk in this world with a new focus to flow through our new lives. It is heavenly centered manifesting on earth. Through the power of Holy Spirit we connect as eternal beings in Christ fully formed in our identity as being from another world.

This does not deny the fact that we still feel pain, still encounter trials and persecution. We are in Christ. We have to operate in revelation with the aid of new spiritual senses –how to live in the earth with eternal perspective. Our spiritual senses consistently reveal to us how to operate in another realm while in the earth. That is how I live my life in the power of Holy Spirit. I am a new creation. In Christ, you are a new creation. There truly is so much to say about this. But, let’s start here.

In Christ, you are spiritual. I am spiritual. It’s time to be so heavenly minded that the kingdom flows through us in power, bringing life into dry places. Bringing hope to the lost. Bringing joy to the depressed. Living eternal in Christ right now, bringing healing wherever we go. It starts with me and it starts with you right now. New…..in Christ. Spend some time in the presence of the Lord and ask Him to reveal this to you day by day.

Gazing….Hearing the Voice of God

HeartAs a Christian, we hear the voice of our Lord. We heard His voice draw us into salvation but it does not stop there. We hear Him in an ongoing relationship through Holy Spirit who dwells within us to lead, guide, teach and comfort. So let’s establish this fact: we hear His voice.

Is there the opportunity to make mistakes? To not actually hear correctly? Of course there is. But, that should not by any means stop us from seeking to hear Him speak into our lives through every means possible – the written Word of God, the rhema Word of God breathed into us by the Holy Spirit in revelation, dreams, visions, trances, quiet times and not so quiet times, words dropped into our spirits, and through prophetic acts. The possibilities to commune with God are as creative and unique and diverse as God is in His being.  There are many different ways He can talk to us. It is all centered on relationship. Intimacy with the Lord develops a relationship where we are in sync with Him. In Christ…..we are in Christ.

Today I want to talk about gazing upon His face in the power of Holy Spirit in times of meditation. Times where we meet with Him, set everything else aside. Times where we place everything else on hold and label it “Nonessential” or “Unimportant”. Times where we sit down and gaze upon His beauty in order to reflect His glory in and through our lives. This is not some feminine act or some girly thing. It is Scripture and may I remind us that a man first spoke about gazing on the beauty of the Lord. David.

One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
(Psalms 27:4-5 NKJV)

I also love The Message for devotional times.

I’m asking God for one thing,
only one thing:
To live with him in his house
my whole life long.
I’ll contemplate his beauty;
I’ll study at his feet.
5 That’s the only quiet, secure place
in a noisy world,
The perfect getaway,
far from the buzz of traffic
(Psalms 27:4-5 Message)

In my early years of being a Christian, I was initially a ‘doing’ Christian before I realized that ‘being’ Christian moved me along in revelation and intimacy with Jesus. What do I mean? I spent time as often as I could in worship, with the Bible, and a journal. I went to a variety of places to quiet down and to enter into “being” spiritual, “being” in Christ, and realizing that I am seated with Christ in heavenly places – on earth and in heaven. I asked Holy Spirit to teach me His ways, the ways of the Kingdom. I wrote conversations with the Lord in my journal, dialoging back and forth. May I be bold enough to say that you can’t bypass spending time with Jesus, no matter how busy your schedule is? He can download so much into our lives when we give Him our time. We get more done giving Him our lives to lead and guide as He sees fit. Try it. I assure it that it is awesome.

Some thoughts from a book I am currently reading.

The Cave by Joseph Shrewsbury

“Beholding is simply sitting quietly in the presence of Jesus and seeing Him there.”

“The point of beholding is not to get anything more than simply being in His presence.”

It is in beholding that as we gaze we are transformed in the Spirit, being in Christ. There is a divine exchange that takes place in these times. Can I say it like this? More of you, Lord. Less of me. This is a rare form of Christianity in the West but there is no other way to learn His ways and to be transformed by His Spirit, being conformed into His image. We impact the world, our cities, nations, friends, families……through being transformed in His presence.

The point of gazing is to enter into the reality that being ‘in Christ’ means we are in Christ. I don’t leave. I am always in Christ. He seems to have all of me while at the same time, I get distracted, get busy so I have to pull my being into the revelation that He is my all in all.

There are so many great books to read on this.

Practicing the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence.

Wade Taylor……anything by Wade Taylor. Wade is deceased now but his legacy lives on in His revelation and His love for His Lord.

A few more thoughts from The Cave.

“Moving into mediation, especially the type of mediation that is often called ‘beholding’ requires us to stop talking. In fact, it frequently doesn’t even involve us listening either. When we begin beholding Him, we typically make a deliberate effort to do so, and then we stop beholding and go about our business……..eventually we can maintain a state of continual beholding which is having the awareness of Christ in you and you in Him constantly before you. It is superimposed over your daily activities and you find that having the awareness of Him in you makes your day a day of power in the Spirit.”

So I encourage each and everyone one of you to take time to BE with the Lord.
